Programs
When natural disaster and emergency crises strike, the challenges of poverty are magnified for these children and their families. Finding food each day is even more difficult when a flood or hurricane wipes out a village’s crops. Parents frantically search for emergency shelter for their families after seeing their homes completely destroyed. Children and their parents seek any kind of work – but when a country is trying to rebuild after a disaster, work is almost impossible to find. ERDO’s programs reach out to people during these difficult times of need. Following Jesus’ example, we provide care where there is poverty, hunger, disaster and injustice. We become Christ’s hand and feet, working alongside courageous men, women and children who struggle to survive, doing good as we bring hope to those in need.
All statistics have been recorded from the following web pages: Unicef, WHO, The United Nations, UNAIDS. Learn more about the areas ERDO is working in:Child Sponsorship
