A little about me...

Chan Tee is a cheerful boy who lives with both of his parents, and his brother and two sisters.  Chan Tee's father earns a living as a moto driver, and his mother sells oysters at the market.  Though his parents do their best to support the family it is difficult for them to make any money during the rainy season.  Life for this family is a daily struggle. 

Through ChildCARE Plus in Cambodia, Chan Tee will be able to begin his education at a local school where he is in kindergarten.  He likes to play with his toys, especially cars.  He is a calm and helpful young boy.  Chan Tee is a great help to his mother by helping her buys things like food ingredients or ice.

 Being part of the ChildCARE Plus program brings Chan Tee into contact with loving Christian workers.  These workers have given their lives to helping many who are struggling to live despite the challenges of a poverty-stricken society.  Your support helps to provide Chan Tee with nutritious meals, clothing, and shelter. It will also help with medical expenses when needed.

ABOUT Chan Tee's Childcare Plus Program

Cambodia is in Asia and borders Thailand and Vietnam. It is a poor and shattered country that is still recovering from the terrible genocides incurred from 1975-1979. Under the leadership of 'Pol Pot' the Khmer Rouge claimed nearly 2 million innocent lives! The once beautiful capital city of Phnom Penh is now a seemingly hopeless place of extreme poverty.  It is here that thousands of children have been left as orphans or fatherless.  This is the site of our ChildCARE Plus headquarters in Cambodia! The program in Cambodia is administered by local missionaries and are dedicated to spreading the love of Jesus and to keeping the children involved in their home setting. The children in the program receive food, medical care, clothing and an opportunity to go to school.  Your monthly gift will ensure that your child receives these benefits.
