A little about me...

Janeth is an adorable little girl. She lives with her mother in a small mud hut.  Sadly her father has passed away from HIV/AIDS and Janeth relies solely on her mother for care.  She has four siblings. Her mother finds work where she can, doing such things as washing clothes or packaging peanuts. Food for this family does not come daily as it may happen that Janeth's mother has not made enough money to buy food for them that day. Life for this family is an ongoing struggle.

Through ChildCARE Plus, Janeth will be able to attend a local primary school when she is old enough. Your sponsorship will also help Janeth and her family to receive the proper food, clothing and shelter that they require. Janeth is the baby of the family and is a very social and curious little girl. Your support will greatly impact her life!

Janeth is experiencing Jesus love through your support.  Please pray that she will grow strong in her faith and knowledge of the Word. Pray also, that God will heal her emotional wounds.

ABOUT Janeth's Childcare Plus Program

Tanzania is a small country on the east coast of Africa just south of Kenya. Most of the people live in mud-walled huts with grass roofs and mud floors. The children usually sleep on the floor, on grass woven mats. Their diet consists mainly of ugali (cornmeal cooked very stiffly) along with spinach or beans cooked with tomatoes and onions. Along with meat, milk and sweets are rarely in their diet because they cannot afford to buy it.  Unless they grow their own fruit, it is also absent from their meals.  Because most people cook over open fires, the children sometimes play near fire, and this can often cause serious accidents. Your sponsorship offers this child  hope and a future.
