A little about me...

Aynalem lives with her mother, three brothers and four sisters.  Sadly her father passed away.  They live in a very poor area of southern Ethiopia.  This part of Ethiopia is dry and consequently there is a shortage of food because the land makes farming here difficult. There is no running water, so fetching water is a daily chore. Aynalem's mother is a farmer  She works very hard but makes very little. It is difficult for this family to survive.

Aynalem really wants to be able to be able to attend school on a regular basis. Education is a rare privilege for many children here because their families cannot afford the costs of schooling.  Aynalem is currently in grade two and enjoys skipping with her friends.

In addition to ensuring Aynalem receives an education, your monthly support will help to provide her with the immediate assistance of nutritious food, clothing, and shelter. Furthermore, being part of the ChildCARE Plus program will bring Aynalem into contact with loving Christian workers who have given their lives to helping people who are struggling to live in a poverty-stricken society.

ABOUT Aynalem's Childcare Plus Program

Ethiopia is a country in East Africa ravaged by civil war and famine.  Many people have lost their lives and thousands of children have been left as orphans or fatherless. The ChildCARE Plus program in Ethiopia keeps the children involved in their home setting. The children in the program receive food, medical care, clothing and an opportunity to go to school.
