Crisis Response
When a natural disaster strikes, ERDO is there - often before other agencies have even had a chance to respond. We hear firsthand of the devastation that has occurred and of the specific needs people have in the aftermath - for food, clean water, emergency shelter and medical supplies. By working with local partners, churches and aid agencies we have the capacity to carry out long-term development work, so those affected by natural disaster, crisis or conflict will have support as they embark on the challenging task of rebuilding their lives. For people already caught in the cycle of poverty, recovering from crisis is an incredibly difficult task. Through ERDO, you can make it easier. You can be a friend and help in a practical way...turning a terrifying situation into an opportunity to discover the care and love of Christ.
