Bangladesh Floods

The Worst Flooding in Decades

Millions of people in Bangladesh are fleeing their homes after monsoon rainfall caused flooding and massive food shortages. Now, more than four million people are stranded, as they cannot stay in their flooded homes. ERDO is responding in partnership with the Pentecostal Assemblies of Bangladesh (PAOB) to bring emergency food to 2,000 families in desperate need.

As of right now, thousands of families in Bangladesh have lost everything, including their homes, their personal possessions, their livestock and their food sources. Flooding has triggered power outages and affected access to sanitation and clean water.

Families are now facing starvation.

How Can You Help?

Today, you can help save a life by bringing an emergency food basket to a family in need. For $25.50, you can supply a basket containing:

  • 10 kg of rice
  • 1 kg of flattened rice
  • 1 kg of red lentils
  • 1 kg of oil
  • 3 kg of potatoes
  • 1 kg of salt
  • 1 kg of sugar

In total, we are raising $51,000 to support 2,000 vulnerable families in Bangladesh, who have been impacted by these floods.

Thank you for prayerfully giving to this cause. Your donation of any amount is making a huge difference to a family in Bangladesh.
