2021 Projects qualifying for matched funds*

Through approved food relief programs with Canadian Foodgrains Bank, ERDO is able to receive matched funding from the Canadian government. For specific food aid programs, ERDO can access matched funds up to 4:1, making your donations reach so many more families in need!


Haiti - 1 to 1 matched funds

  • Working alongside farmers to increase year-round food access for 200 households in Marmont, Haiti. Learn more>>
  • Establishing a sustainable source of plantain seedlings locally
  • Maximizing the value of harvested crops by ensuring famers work efficiently

Kenya - 3 to 1 matched funds

  • Providing opportunities for livelihood diversification and income generation strategies, health and nutrition training, and community managed disaster risk reduction and natural resource management interventions for 3,600 individuals.

Uganda – 4 to 1 matched funds

  • Providing emergency food (CSB+) to South Sudanese refugees living in Uganda. 2,550 pregnant and lactating mothers and persons with special needs will benefit from this gift. Learn more>>

  • Providing 800 households (5,120 people) in Yemen with food baskets for five months. Learn more>>

Zimbabwe Supplementary Feeding Program – 4 to 1 matched funds
