Mpendulo Prince
Mpendulo is a happy young boy who lives with his grandmother, brother, and sister in South Africa. Sadly, the whereabouts of Mpendulo's father is unknown, leaving his mother to care for the family on her own. Despite her best efforts, she has not been able to make ends meet. She brought Mpendulo to live with his grandmother to better have his needs met. Life is an ongoing struggle for Mpendulo and his family.
Many children living in this area do not attend school because families cannot afford to pay the school fees. Through ChildCARE Plus sponsorship, however, Mpendulo will have the opportunity to attend school on a regular basis and continue his education. Mpendulo enjoys learning languages at school. When he isn't at school or running errands for his grandmother, Mpendulo likes to play soccer. He hopes to be a soldier when he is older. Mpendulo's favourite Bible verse is Isaiah 6:6, and red is his favourite colour.
