ChildCARE Plus in Thailand

PAOC Global Worker, Matthew Price in partnership with a strong team of local administrators, oversee the CCP program which impacts over 450 children in 20 communities. 

Through a $41 a month donation, a child can attend school, have access to nutritious food and healthcare and be spiritually nurtured by our on-the-ground ChildCARE Plus community representatives.

Community Development - Water

Through the generous donations of young people participating in the Life campaign, 12 clean water systems were installed in Thai schools.  Thanks to our partner on the ground, Imagine Thailand for implementing the water systems.

Since 2008, our partner, Imagine Thailand has been working to provide each migrant school in Mae Sot with a source of clean, reliable drinking water: a reverse osmosis water filtration system. This water filtration system removes bacteria and toxins and cleans the water to nearly 100 percent purity. These systems are affordable and practical because they tap in to an existing water source (where schools don't have one, we often drill or find new sources) and deliver clean water right where it's needed.

Prior Assistance in Thailand

Crisis Response in Thailand

Working through Peter & Cavelle Dove and our partnership with Imagine Thailand, ERDO assisted victims of flooding in 2011 by providing clean fresh drinking water which helped over 22,800 people.

With thanks to supporters, the following practical assistance was made possible:

• Purchased and installed 42 water filtration systems for churches, community centers, schools, and apartments to provide access to clean, affordable (free) water
• Purchased and installed 14 water storage tanks to speed up distribution of water attached to filtration systems
• Funded local church rescue and relief efforts to communities
• Purchased thousands of topical antibiotics to address health concerns resulting from contact with dirty flood water
• Purchased hip waders, pants and bibs to insure the safety of relief workers working in dirty flood water
• Paid for alterations to Imagine Thailand/ERDO truck so that the truck could be used by relief and rescue workers
• Purchased four water pressure machines and cleaning supplies to assist in clean up

 In addition, ERDO provided assistance to Global Workers Cavelle Rowsell and Peter Dewitt as they responded to needs of our ChildCARE Plus children and their families and local church families.
